Strengthening Partnerships to Accelerate Genetic Progress in Indian Dairy

It was a privilege to host Dr. Pramod Kumar Sinh, CEO of the Uttar Pradesh Livestock Development Board (UPLDB), at our Gujarat Bovine Semen Sexing Institute, Patan, on 19 April 2026, along with a distinguished delegation including Dr. Santosh Kumar Yadav (IVF Centre, UPLDB), Dr. R. D. Joshi, Dr. L. V. Patel, and Dr. Sandip Patel from Banas Dairy, along with officials from GLDB.

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase our advanced infrastructure, stringent quality systems, and the operational discipline that drives performance at Genus ABS India. The delegation appreciated the high standards of hygiene, systematic processes, and the strong team alignment across functions.

During the facility tour, there was active engagement around production workflows, quality control mechanisms, and best practices in sexed semen technology—reflecting a shared commitment towards accelerating genetic progress in Indian dairy.

The interaction extended beyond operations, with meaningful discussions focused on collaboration, farmer impact, and strengthening ecosystem partnerships. We were also honored by the invitation from Dr. Singh to visit UPLDB ahead of their upcoming production initiatives.

This visit reinforces the importance of institutional collaboration in driving sustainable dairy development and scaling the adoption of advanced breeding technologies across the country.
