Brahma Facility is equipped to house 116 bulls with the production capacity of over 7 million units per year. Brahma Facility houses bull breed of HF, Jersey, Holstein Cross, Red Sindhi (Zebu) & Buffalo bulls. Among its innovations, collection processes, artificial vagina (AV) sterilisation, incubation, and washing are all undertaken in the barns themselves, leaving no possibility of contamination in the lab area. Semen collections reach the lab through pneumatic tubes, making the process much faster. The facility also uses specially treated water with different compartments for different processes.
